Meet Dr. Melody Rawlings

Melody Rawlings is the Director of the Center for Advancement of Virtual Organizations (CAVO) at National University and CEO of Meremel Group LLC.

 

The Center for Advancement of Virtual Organizations is a hub of current information and practices aimed at supporting professionals working in all aspects of remote and hybrid work.

 

Meremel Group LLC is a women-owned business and team of associates dedicated to helping organizations grow through original research, remote team training, leadership development, cultural coaching, course development, and talent management. Our associates are subject matter experts with extensive experience who are committed to assisting organizations in achieving measurable results.

 

With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Rawlings is a researcher, remote workplace expert, and business professor. She founded Meremel Group LLC to bring together a team of subject matter experts in key areas to help organizations achieve greater results.

BACKGROUND

Melody has taught business courses in the U.S. and Europe in the areas of organizational leadership, teamwork, research, cultural diversity, and more. She is an international speaker and author of peer-reviewed articles, and workbook, Effective teamwork: Building a toolkit for success.

PAST WORK

Before her work at CAVO and Meremel Group LLC, Melody developed and directed a cooperative education program for a university in the Midwest where she established partnerships with local and regional businesses such as Proctor & Gamble, Fidelity, and Toyota. She also wrote and managed a federal grant and several private grants in excess of $1,000,000.

EDUCATION

Melody holds a BS in Business Education, an MS in technology specializing in business management, and an EdD in leadership. 

 

Melody’s dissertation and continuing research is on virtual teams, leadership potential and development.

Melody is an international presenter and co-author of Determining Leadership Potential: Powerful Insights at Winning the Talent Game.
